Today I will
be present.

strive to be grounded.

inhale and exhale when I feel myself exiting my body.
Today I will
NOT let my anxiety and depression claim dominance and authority over my decisions,
whether they be words, thoughts or actions.
Today I will
accept all the things that I cannot control or change.
Today I will
embrace all the things that I can control,
such as my reactions, inner monologues, and speech.
Today I will
try my hardest to flush out any toxic or intrusive thought patterns.
Today I will
Make a conscious effort to do all of these tasks to the best of my ability.
Today I will
not judge myself harshly if and when I fail.
Today I will
continue to remind myself that healing is indeed an ongoing and circular
process
that is does not
operate in linear fashion
nor does it submerge neatly.
Today I will
be gentle with myself and to others who I interact with.
Today I will
be present.
