Some say that the brain can slowly heal trauma overtime,
of course
only if you
follow
the doctor's orders.
("their orders" include:)
(have some quality insurance under your belt,
a decent enough therapist,
and don't forget
the right combination of drugs.)
But and
(The question remains)
(when)
Can
(and will the body,)
these intertwined structures
that are,
Our
central vehicles of moving through the realm,
that is the world,
(truly heal?)
(through neat and tidy instructions,)
recover in a similiar fashion?
If our brains can learn to forget
can our bodies do the same?
(Through structured formulas such as)
(these doctor's orders)
(In many ways)
I feel like
(it most often cannot.)
bodies
are much like refridgerators,
(They slowly transition)
(into sponges,)
crock pots, and
chili,
(continously absorbing and remembering,)
(holding and clenching)
(onto these hovering traumas)
(that after cycles of time,)
(that rush past us)
(become baked into our internal makeups.)
cooking,
simmering,
storing,
slushing,
the painful memories and
the looped
"what if I had not's"
glopping and
bubbling
like the messiness of
pig's slop.
